Redd you are AWESOME! Happy to see you are doing good in VA. I HOPE to see you come to Indianapolis or Fort Wayne areas to perform. I love your style of playing guitar. I play guitar myself and I try to emulate your style. Once again I think you are AWESOME and love watching your YOUTUBE videos.

Love the work you do, it's right down my alley. I've been playing Teles since 1967 and try to keep 'em smokin'. By the way, in the old days, I used to pick with the late Big Jim (steel player)before he went to Paycheck and before you worked with in the Austin airport. Your approach to tone, and a fat, mellow neck pickup sound is what I'm trying to secure. What pots and caps do you suggest? Thanks, you just keep pickin' and the rest of us will listen with envy.

My favorite customer, re working on his guitars for many years, and also for experiencing the laughter and great musical talent of a true-blue human being who's been so gracious and accepting of so many, and who has added to my life in so many ways that I could count them, ... if I had more fingers.

Redd, Justin way back when, you don’t know how happy it made me when I found out how your life has turned out. You’ve done very well, fantastic actually, and I will never forget the day we laughed together as you explained how you had been kicked out of class for making a funny noise with your lips in class. We laughed and you taught me how to make that noise which has come in handy from time to time over the years and each time I’ve used it I have remembered where and when I learned it. I have now watched many of your videos and interviews and laughed as I remember your too brief time at North Surrey. I regret that some things in the school system I could not change, but I did my best to try to make school a better place for as many as I could. Funny, I am in Spain at the moment and was planning a trip to Austin when we returned in the hope of seeing you perform live when I found out about you moving as I spend several months in Tucson Arizona over the winter. I will keep watch, along with several friends who were once students at North Surrey to see if you ever are in the neighborhood and I can catch your performance live. Until then, keep pickin’ and grinnin’. You’re awesome and thanks for the memories and the skill set.

Caught your interview on True Tone. Was great and I see that you are still breathing guitar an resonating music. You were born for that purpose Red. Just to say Howdy from Nashville. I figured out that I have been here thirty years and I have had a great career and great time here but I am looking to leave as it has grown too fast and too much of New York and LA attitudes have moved in!
See Ya Red and keep on picking
